Do you have a creative mind? Do you need to read something else before writing about it? Or can you just write off the cuff, freestyle and free flowing with ideas and imagination?

Be Yourself and/or Original or Don’t
When writing blog posts, you need to be yourself and try to be as interesting as possible. People are attracted to genuine honest content. You can add humor to your content but try not to be too funny where it seems like you are acting out of desperation. People don’t like fakers who try too hard to please everyone else. So, you need some interesting content that people will read? Is that not what a search engine is for? Let’s put it this way, we all have the capabilities of all the information in the world in the palm of your hand or right on top of your table, or maybe it’s on your lap. Whatever the case may be, there should be no shortage of information that you have access to. You can pretty much take any topic and with the right reputable sources, you can really make a statement or maybe it’s just your own opinion on a research topic/blog/pod cast or whatever. The possibilities are literally infinite. Therefore, to write something worthwhile it would be a good idea to write about something that you are an expert in, this way you can always back track or give people different perspectives on the topic.
If you start writing about something that you have no idea about or what to write, well then not too much content will be written now will it? It’s common sense. Use it. Unless of course you’re trying to cover up something or misinform on purpose which a lot of information out there believe it or not is all about. Unfortunately, we have a lot of corruption out there, and it spills into the mass media. You just must try to differentiate between bs and the truth, but for interesting topics, sports, or what have you, there really is not much other to tell other than the truth and the facts of what happened. Football scores don’t lie. And yes, there is such a thing as bad officiating. It frustrates me as well, but we all must live with this irritating fact that people kind of suck sometimes. Don’t let the haters get to you. This is an important part of being a good continuous content creator. Overcoming the negativity and rude comments. Sometimes a comment or reply can be very personal, and it may get under your skin and make you feel angry or emotional. Don’t let that get in the way of what you want to do. There will always be a bunch of assholes out there. Trust me they are not just online. They are everywhere in real life, but that is just the way it is.
We can’t really change the world, but you can change what you say in the world, and you can control what content that you put on your website or blog so that should be empowering enough for you to overcome any obstacles, especially internet trolls. Most importantly, do not let your fears bring you down. You only have _____ but _____ itself, right? Don’t let fear overcome you, take control and blog fearlessly. However, there are certain laws that prevent you from saying just whatever you want, and that is if the content is threatening or whatever, look up the laws and make sure you abide by the laws. Because you never know which troll has Johnny Law on his/her side and/or Finkle and Einhorn (wink wink). Or it could be they just have good lawyers, so be careful. But at the same time be effective. Know the laws that relate to communication.
“Don’t let fear overcome you, take control and blog fearlessly.”
We have freedom of speech which should be safeguarded by the 1st Amendment of the United States Constitution. However, there are some things that are not protected which include obscene material such as child porn, plagiarism of copyrighted material, defamation which includes (libel and slander), true threats, also incitement. That being said… You should always obey the law, obey the rules and what have you and you should be good to go. It’s common sense really, if it doesn’t feel right or gives you a bad sense of wrong. Then it usually is wrong. I know this world needs more common sense for sure. But most of all, have fun with your blog or pod cast.
